Fat Dissolving Injections

Sometimes, no matter how much exercise you do or how many different diets you try, you just can’t seem to get rid of the fat in certain areas of your body. If your stubborn fat deposits have got you down, then maybe there is something else you can try before completely throwing your healthy habits out the window: PCDC injections.

Liquid Lipo, also known as injection lipolysis, is a procedure intended to reduce fat with a series of injectable drugs: phosphatidylcholine and deoxycholate, also called PCDC.

Liquid Lipo is meant to treat areas with a small amount of fat, such as on the jaw, midsection, double chin, jowls, love handles, inner thighs, and outer thighs (also known as saddlebags). As with liposuction, these microinjections are intended for body contouring and are not a weight loss solution.

Areas treatable with injection-based lipolysis include:

  • Upper and lower abdomen

  • Thighs

  • Upper arms

  • Fat bulges below the bra-line

  • “Love handles”

  • Saddlebags

  • Double chin

  • Residual fat deposits post-liposuction

  • PCDC/Liquid Lipo is popular among patients that want a non-surgical, no down time, less expensive, reasonably effective treatment option.

  • Non-surgical fat reduction option

  • Minimal side effects, most common being redness and some swelling

  • Very little recovery time, less recovery time required than after any other invasive liposuction treatment

  • Removes fat through natural functions

You can resume your normal daily activities immediately after treatment though you will have substantial swelling for the first few days. Keep social plans and work commitments in mind when scheduling your treatment.

Swelling is generally resolved enough to return to work and workouts in 3 days. The remainder of swelling and inflammation will be completely resolved within one month. Results will develop gradually over time as the fat disappears.
